On August 2nd, 2027, a total solar eclipse will pass over the Valley of the Kings. Six minutes and twenty-three seconds of totality — the longest of our lifetime, and the longest until 2114. Fabled Routes will be there.
We start in Cairo at the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum. Then head south to Luxor, where we'll walk through the temples, descend into the Valley of the Kings, and watch hot air balloons rise at dawn. Eclipse day, we gather for totality and celebrate one of the most breathtaking astrological events of our lifetime.
Then we will slow it down. A cruise down the nile, ancient temples sliding past the banks, the river doing what it's done for thousands of years.
